Gabriel

Gabriel is an experimental publication recounting the story of my father’s line through genealogical research presented with typography, image juxtapositions, and synthesized graphics that relate the family to a larger history while also addressing the medium of newspaper and several other sub-themes, such as farming, our place in the universe, and my identity.

This project is the result of research and design conducted by Kory Bo Gabriel within fifteen weeks during the fall semester of 2012 as part of the Graphic Design Exit class under the guidance of Professor Moon Jung Jang at the University of Georgia’s Lamar Dodd School of Art.

The work was exhibited in the Graphic Design Exit Show from November 30 to December 10 in the Lamar Dodd School of Art Suite & Plaza Galleries.
